Privacy Policy

Effective June 23, 2026SiloTech LLCCalifornia, USA

01 Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SiloTech LLC (“SiloTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit silotechengineering.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us or submit a form through it.

The SiloForge™ software platform is provided to organizations under a separate arrangement. Access to SiloForge™ and any information you enter into the application are governed by the SiloForge™ Subscription Terms and the agreement under which access is granted — not by this policy. This policy covers the public Site only.

02 Information you provide

We collect only the information you choose to give us through the Site’s forms or by contacting us directly:

  • Contact form — your name, email address, company, the topic of your inquiry, and your message.
  • SiloForge™ demo request — your name, email address, company, and the programs you are interested in.
  • Engineering consultation request, where offered — your name, email address, company, the structure or facility involved, and your project context.
  • Newsletter (“The Dispatch”) — the email address you submit to subscribe.
  • Direct correspondence — anything you include when you email or call us.

You do not need to create an account to use the Site, and the Site does not ask for payment-card or other financial information.

03 Information collected automatically

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies on the Site, so we do not build profiles of your browsing. As with any website, though, some routine technical information is processed simply to deliver the Site:

  • When your browser loads the Site or submits a form, our hosting provider and the third-party services that help deliver the Site (see Third-party service providers) automatically receive routine technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the date and time of the request.
  • We store your display preferences (such as motion, font, and density settings) locally in your browser using localStorage. That information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

These technical logs are used only to operate and secure the Site and are kept for a limited time before being deleted or overwritten.

04 Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not use cookies to track you across other websites. The only similar technology we control is browser localStorage, used solely to remember your on-site display preferences.

The Site loads some of its fonts from Google Fonts. As part of serving those fonts, Google receives the IP address of the device requesting them, under Google’s own policies.

05 How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries, demo requests, and consultation requests.
  • To send the newsletter if you subscribe, and to let you unsubscribe.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To keep records of our communications and to meet our legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

We do not use the information you submit to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for advertising.

06 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

We disclose information only in these limited ways:

  • Service providers who process information on our behalf, under contract and only to provide their service — for example, the provider that delivers our form and newsletter submissions, and our business email provider.
  • Professional advisors, such as our lawyers and accountants, where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and safety reasons — to comply with the law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SiloTech, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

07 Third-party service providers

We rely on a small number of third parties to run the Site. Each processes information under its own privacy policy:

  • Web3Forms — receives the contact, demo, consultation, and newsletter form submissions and forwards them to our inbox.
  • Google Workspace — our business email, where form submissions and correspondence are received and stored.
  • Google Fonts — serves some of the Site’s fonts, as described above.

The Site also links to our LinkedIn page. That is an outbound link only; we do not embed LinkedIn tracking on the Site.

08 Payments

We do not collect or process payments through this Site. There is no shopping cart or checkout, and we do not ask for card numbers or banking details here.

SiloForge™ licensing and any associated fees are arranged separately and are not handled on this Site.

09 Analytics

We do not use website analytics or similar measurement tools on the Site, and we do not track your activity for measurement or advertising. If this ever changes, we will update this policy to describe the provider and your choices.

10 Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as we need it to respond to you, maintain our business records, and meet legal or contractual obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

We review the information we hold periodically and delete or de-identify what we no longer need.

11 Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to a site of this kind, and we rely on established providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12 International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those where you live.

Where required by law, we take steps to ensure that personal information transferred from your region receives an adequate level of protection.

13 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

To make a request, email info@silotechengineering.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

14 California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to and deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such opt-out to exercise. The information we collect and our purposes are described in the sections above. To exercise your rights, use the details in Contact us. You may also have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf.

15 GDPR and UK GDPR rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. Where these laws apply, we generally rely on your consent (for example, when you subscribe to the newsletter), our legitimate interests in responding to your inquiries and operating the Site, and compliance with legal obligations.

SiloTech LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

16 Children’s privacy

The Site is a business-to-business engineering site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

17 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page and note material changes here. Your continued use of the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
